The Life of Ibrahim (AH)

islaminstalbans.com in co-ordination with London Colney Islamic Centre present - "The Life of Ibrahim (AH)" by Maulana Thaqib from the Zuhri Academy. This talk was held on the 14th September and the programme included Quranic recitation from Al Hikmah students Abkar Ahmed, Maroof Ahmed and Ibrahim Majeed.

This talk explores the events as related in the Qur'an in the life of one of the pivotal figures in Islam - Prophet Ibrahim (AS) or Prophet Abraham in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Maulana Thaqib ponders on lessons we can learn from Ibrahim AS's life and how we can implement these qualities into our own. Prepare to be inspired and amazed by the life of one of the greatest prophets who has walked the face of this earth and helped build such a significant foundation to our religion - the Kaaba.

He has earned the title of Khalil-Ullah (Friend of Allah) and is a direct forefather of many prophets who came after him. This is an event that cannot be missed. Miss it,Miss out!

(AH) - is short for Alayhi Salam - which is a mark of respect Muslims pay when saying the names of the Prophets or Angels. It means "may peace up upon him".
